Museum is open as usually. Our steam train run by Saturdays and Sundays timetable. Payment by price – list. Souvenirs in dicket ofice is available.

Steam days at 17. – 18. of May 2025

17. May:

Museum night. Event start at 18:00 and finish at 23:00. Tax free entering. Steam train operate with out time table. Payment to train: adults 15€, pensioneers 10€ and childrens up 5 yo 5€.

18. May:

Museum is open at 9:00 untill 17:00. Museum services by usual payment. Sheduled steam train operation:

Leaving from museum (Müramaa): 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:00, 15.00, 16:00.

Leaving from Lavassaare: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:30, 14:30, 15.30, 16:30.

Christmas steamday in 7th of December 2024

Together with our volunteers we invite You to our last event of the year – the Christmas Train 2024, that will take place on the 7th of December. The Lavassaare museum railway will be open on that day from 11:30 to 17:00. Our steam train will run on a flexible schedule from 12:00 to 16:00. If there are still visitors who haven’t had a chance to have a ride on the steam train before 16 o’clock, then we are going to extend the steam train’s timetable until 17 o’clock. At Müramaa station (at the museum), we offer free non-alcoholic mulled wine and gingerbreads. An indoor Christmas café is open inside the museum. Live instrumental music will be playing on the train and also we have heard that Santa Clause promised to drop by. A Christmas tree-decorating event will be held at Lavassaare station for the children travelling by train. Admission to the museum is free for everyone. Tickets for the Christmas train will be €15 for adults and €10 for pensioners. Children can enjoy the train ride for free! Tickets can be purchased at the ticket car where You can also find various souvenirs for purchase – pins/badges, magnets, pens, postcards, mugs, books, etc. We accept card payments, bank transfers from your mobile phone and cash. We look forward to seeing You on the Christmas train to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas month!

Steam days in 26. – 27. of October 2024

We steaming again. The museum is open in Saturday 11:00-18:00 and in Sunday 11:00-17:00. Steam train trafick by Saturdays and Sundays time table. Museum services with usual payment. Coffeteria is open and sevral souvenirs in ticket office is available. You welcome to our autumn event!
